QUTE.sk at OpenSlava 2025: Advancing the Future of Quantum Security
On October 16, 2025, QUTE.sk participated in OpenSlava 2025, the 13th edition of Accenture’s leading technology conference held at FEI STU in Bratislava. This year, our participation focused on showcasing the growing impact of quantum communication and quantum security technologies.
Security of Quantum-Enabled Networks
Our researcher Mario Ziman delivered an engaging talk introducing the principles of quantum-based cryptosystems designed to resist attacks from quantum computers. The session provided a clear overview of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), the current state of quantum communication infrastructures, and the main technological challenges ahead. Mario also highlighted several real-world use cases, illustrating how these systems are already shaping the secure networks of tomorrow.

Booth in the Exhibition Area

At our QUTE.sk booth, visitors explored the principles of quantum computing and communication and learned about the role of QKD protocols in building secure digital infrastructures. The discussions and demonstrations offered valuable insight into how quantum systems are applied today to strengthen information security and enable the next generation of data protection.
The discussions and connections made at OpenSlava 2025 reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and innovators. We were delighted to connect with participants eager to explore the possibilities of quantum technologies – and we look forward to returning next year to continue shaping the future of quantum communication in Slovakia and beyond.
