The Slovak Academy of Sciences conferred the honorary title Doctor of Science honoris causa upon Nobel Laureate Professor Anton Zeilinger, one of the world’s foremost pioneers in quantum physics.
From April 28 to 30, Greece hosted the international QCI Days 2025 conference in Athens, reaffirming its leading role in the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure (EuroQCI) initiative. The conference provided a key platform to discuss secure and scalable quantum communication across Europe.
This year Nobel Prize was awarded to our distinguished colleagues Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger for their experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science.
